JOB'S DAUGHTERS BETHEL 64

Girls have fun together at activities such as swimming parties, dances, family picnics, slumber parties, miniature golf, marching in parades and so much more.   In Job's Daughters girls build lifelong friendships.

Members perform service projects to help their community and the less fortunate.   Members can also qualify for various scholarships that are offered on a state and national level.

Girls gain valuable leadership experience, serve as part of a team, and learn democratic principles as they run their own meetings, decide their own activities, and plan their own events.

Jobies Just Wanna Have Fun... and Dance, Too!Jobie girls just love to dance and get dressed up.  There's plenty of opportunity to do that, as often there are dances with members of the local DeMolay Chapter.

Dances and Activities are always chaperoned.

The girls are always doing good things, too.  Here's just one example...

Doing Good...

ADULT ADVISORS -

Every youth groups needs enthusiastic advisors - you don't need to be a member of the Masonic Lodge to be a role model for young people.  You just need to be willing to share your time.  Of course all advisors are background checked, and go through an application process.

If you have the ability to listen, laugh and care, then you can be a part.  There's always a need for someone to be involved - and there are so many things that you can do.  Advisors have been helping young people with these types of activities...

  • Chaperoning a trip to Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry during Christmas break
  • Making sub sandwiches to sell as a fundraiser during the Super Bowl
  • Serving as Waiters for a Renaissance Dinner Feast - In costume
  • Electing Officers and Preparing for an Installation Ceremony
  • Writing press releases for the newspaper to give recognition for community service
  • Maintaining a website with an activities calendar
  • Sending e-mail and text messages to members
  • Coordinating an annual trip to Rhinelander
  • Shortening a dress for a girls' first formal dance
  • Presenting the Flag and Bible during a Masonic Lodge Meeting
  • Holding a Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser
  • Coordinating a Cake Auction
  • Sending out a letter to prospective members
  • Teaching etiquette to young men
  • Chaperoning a Saturday night dance for 100 kids
  • Teaching a young man how to tie his necktie by himself
  • Going bowling with 20 young people on a Friday night
  • Raising Money for the Hearing Impaired
We need help to keep activities like these going.  Many advisors are parents or grandparents - others are simply interested in helping young people stay safe while having a good time.  If you can help - just one or two meetings a month, we'd love to hear from you. YOUTH GROUPS

WEST BEND DEMOLAY

In West Bend since 2005, nearly 70 area boys have joined DeMolay.  It's fun, builds character, and develops leadership skills.  Young men aged 12 to 21 get together, plan events, go places and do stuff.

Below, a DeMolay Member tosses a pie at the Police Chief to Raise Funds for DeMolay.  That's one of the ideas the guys had to raise money

Police Chief Gets a Pie in the Face from a DeMolayLike What?  A trip to Chicago for the day.  Four Days up north chillin' at the cabin on a lake owned by Wisconsin DeMolay Foundation.  Extreme Sports, Bowling, Paintball, Biking, Volleyball and more.  "Food, Fun, Friends and Females" are what keep the guys interested.  Females?  At dances and activities young ladies are welcome to join in the fun.

Any guy who's interested, gets a chance to be in charge once they learn the ropes... It's been a youth group since 1919 - but it's way cooler today.
